Options within Drug Development out side of the CRA role
Hi Everyone,
It’s been a long while since I posted! And it’s not because I don’t love you it’s just because I have been completely swamped. New projects and study startups have taken all of my, would be, free time. Things are still busy but have slowed down in time for me to post this for you.
So maybe you saw my post on why you would not want to be a CRA and you have decided that being a Clinical Research Associate or working in Clinical Operations is not for you. What are some other options in the same field you ask? Well there are many here are some other departments (besides Clinical Operations) within a pharmaceutical company and often within Clinical Research organizations.
Departments:
Innovation and Product Development
Regulatory Affairs, International Regulatory Affairs
Medical Affairs
Drug Safety
Data Management < Nice to transition from CRA to Data manager or vice versa
Quality Assurance
Project Management
Procurement
If none of these work for your there are other departments as well which include Human Resources, Marketing, and Legal.
Remember, your options are only as limted as you are.
