Happy New Year!

Hi guys!

Sorry I have been absent. I have been super super busy! As you know the life of a monitor is at times unpredictable.

So what has been going on with me?

Well, I have been working on multiple new studies for my company and have had the opportunity to act as a study manager for one of the projects. This might turn into a promotion opportunity for me from CRA to Study Manager, which is very exciting.

This leads me to the topic that I want to explore further this year with you.  This is, “Don’t be afraid to take on more responsibility”.

What I mean by this is, you have a desire to excel at your work, which is why you are here reading this right now, so why on Earth would you choose to shy away from new opportunities?

When there is a shortage in personnel you should be the first person to raise your hand to take on more responsibility. This is the first step in getting more experience to do more things than you would have had you kept quiet and pounded away at your current tasks.

I am where I am today because I live by this.

Reach for new opportunities this year. That’s how you get ahead!
